A parked domain is one that's taken, yet it is not linked to any other service - web or e-mail hosting. Basically, such a domain name will not open any real content when you type it inside a web browser, but nobody can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The main advantage of acquiring a domain name and parking it afterwards is that you are able to keep it and not stress that somebody else could possibly register it in the meantime if, for example, the website for it is not ready yet. You could set a temporary Under Construction webpage for a parked Internet domain while you are working on the site, or forward it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The second option can be used when you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you acquire domain.net and domain.org, so as to protect a brand name or a trademark. In this case, the .net and .org domains can be parked and forwarded to the .com because you do not need separate websites for them.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

You're going to be able to park as many domain names as you like with any of the cloud hosting packages we offer. Of course, this feature is offered exclusively for domain names registered here as the service is always provided only by the registrar. As opposed to the majority of service providers, we don't charge anything extra for parking a domain address and the process will take just a few mouse clicks in your Hepsia CP. We have a couple of parking templates to choose from where you can include custom text. If you decide to host a parked domain name in the future, adding it to your account takes just a click. Everything required for your website to start showing up, including setting up a domain folder and setting up DNS records will be done automatically by our system. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domains you have registered through our company and you will be able to set a filter to see only the parked or just the hosted ones.
